Synduality Echo of Ada is set to end its online PvPvE service and continue as an offline PvE extraction shooter. Bandai Namco’s official transition schedule places the shutdown and offline migration in May 2027 or later, correcting the narrower “May 2027” date in the current story copy.
The publisher has not fixed the exact day. It plans to announce that timing in March 2027, while the tools for preserving player data are due to arrive in December 2026. Updates and events for the current online service will stop after the content already scheduled for October 2026.
Bandai Namco’s complete notice says the offline edition will preserve the extraction-shooter adventure but remove the online player-versus-player-versus-enemy format. Some features that require network access will not survive the transition, although the company has not yet published a complete list of those cuts.
Save data will not move automatically
The official migration FAQ says existing owners are expected to receive the offline update without paying again. That includes physical-edition owners who use an eligible game disc and install the update.
Keeping existing progress will require more work. Players must launch the online game while connected and complete a specified transfer action during the designated migration period. Bandai Namco plans to move eligible server-side data into the offline save, including Magus outfits and Cradle or weapon skins.
Anyone who skips that process will start the offline version with a new save. The FAQ warns that online progress, possessions and eligible items bought with SYN COINS will not be available in the offline game without a completed transfer. Detailed steps, the required game version and the confirmation process are due before migration begins.
Paid currency closes before the servers
Sales of SYN COINS end December 18, 2026 at midnight Japan time. Coins bought before that cutoff keep their individual 150-day validity period, but Bandai Namco says unused paid currency will not be refunded.
Players can continue spending valid balances on eligible content until each balance expires. Purchased costume items and other covered goods are planned to transfer only if the migration conditions are met; the full list of eligible items will come with the detailed transfer guidance.
The result is a staged shutdown rather than a single switch-off date: content support winds down after October, currency sales stop in December, migration tools are planned for the same month, and the final online-service date is due in March. Until Bandai Namco supplies those remaining details, players who want to preserve their progress will need to keep the online installation available and watch for the transfer window.
