Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition reportedly launches on Switch 2

Aspyr has released Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition for Nintendo Switch 2 via Nintendo eShop, Gematsu reported Oct. 22, 2026, citing the company’s announcement. An Aspyr overview quoted in the report calls it the final chapter of the Tomb Raider reboot’s Survivor Trilogy.

The Aspyr overview quoted by Gematsu lists the base game, all seven downloadable content challenge tombs, two-player online co-op, and all downloadable weapons, outfits and skills. Aspyr describes a story in which Lara Croft races to stop Trinity from taking the power of an ancient god.

Nintendo Everything reported that Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition and Rise of the Tomb Raider had previously come to Switch 2. Shadow’s reported release brings the trilogy’s concluding game to the platform alongside them.
