Marvel's Wolverine is available worldwide on PlayStation 5, and Insomniac has carried Logan's globe-spanning route into the game's interface. PlayStation says the start menu changes as the story moves from place to place, turning what is normally a static screen into a marker of the journey.
Sony Interactive Entertainment released the game on September 15. The official PlayStation page describes an original Insomniac story in which Logan returns to Team X three years after leaving the mutant task force. His mission is to help save mutants kidnapped by Bolivar Trask.
That pursuit takes the team through locations inspired by the Canadian wilderness, Tokyo and the island nation of Madripoor. The changing start screens highlighted by PlayStation on September 22 reflect those shifts rather than advertising a separate post-launch mode.
Marvel's Wolverine was developed by Insomniac Games in collaboration with Marvel Games and is exclusive to PS5 consoles. Sony's launch material emphasizes making players feel like Wolverine through the full adventure; the menu treatment is a smaller continuity detail that keeps the current location visible between play sessions.
