Pokémon TCG Pocket's Deluxe Pack Mega guarantees an ex card in every pack

Pokémon TCG Pocket is turning its next expansion into a limited catch-up set. Nintendo Life reports that Deluxe Pack: Mega will launch September 30, or September 29 in select time zones, with one Pokémon ex card guaranteed in every pack.

Each pack contains four cards rather than the usual five described for standard expansions. Its pool reaches back across the game's B-series releases, from Mega Rising through Ruler of the Skies. Nintendo Life says every four-diamond-rarity card from that run is being reissued, giving players another route to cards they missed in the original packs.

The guarantee changes what players know before opening a pack, but it does not remove all randomness. The inspected report promises an ex card in each pack without identifying which one a player will receive or publishing a complete rarity-rate table. It also does not list the full set size or pack price.

Deluxe Pack: Mega should be more useful for filling older collection gaps than the game's previous reissue setup. Nintendo Life notes that a recent app update now sorts reissued cards into their corresponding original expansion, so a returning card can count where players would expect to find it instead of sitting only under the new pack.
