Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA coming to Switch 2 on February 25, 2027

NIS America has announced that Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA will come to Nintendo Switch 2 on February 25, 2027. In its trailer description, the publisher advertises up to 120 FPS and cooperative play through GameShare.

Gematsu reports that Ys VIII will get Spanish-language support for the first time with this release. Its report does not specify whether that covers the interface, subtitles or both.

The action RPG follows Adol and other castaways stranded on an island, according to NIS America's overview published by Gematsu. This is not the game's first Nintendo release: Gematsu lists an original Switch launch on June 26, 2018. It says Ys VIII first launched on PS Vita on July 21, 2016.
