Kingdom Hearts is now live in Fortnite, bringing Sora, Riku, Kairi and Roxas to the Item Shop alongside Keyblades, themed accessories and new Battle Royale mechanics.
Epic’s official crossover announcement says each character outfit includes its own Back Bling, Pickaxe and LEGO Fortnite style. Sora’s individual 1,800 V-Bucks offer bundles his outfit with the Keyblade as both a Pickaxe and Back Bling, plus the Keyblade Flourish emote. The outfit has selectable looks based on the original Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts III.
Riku, Kairi and Roxas are also available separately, while the larger Kingdom Hearts bundle groups the four characters and their equipment.
Keyblades reach the Island
The collaboration extends beyond cosmetics. Players can use a Mythic Kingdom Key for melee combos and a lightning attack, while Sea Salt Ice Cream restores health and shields.
Two new Kingdom Hearts Overrides can appear beneath the heart-shaped moon. Recovery Override makes eliminated players drop healing orbs. Level Up Override spawns a Mythic Kingdom Key for every squad member at their current location.
Epic is also scheduling two Kingdom Hearts Power Hours on Sept. 19, from 2-4 p.m. and 9-11 p.m. ET. During those windows, every player starts with a Kingdom Key and Sea Salt Ice Cream.
The Item Shop rounds out the crossover with Kingdom Hearts music and accessories, including Yoko Shimomura tracks “Dearly Beloved” and “The Other Promise,” a Gummi Ship instrument and Shadow Steppers footwear. The crossover turns Sora’s long-awaited appearance into a broader Kingdom Hearts takeover rather than a single character drop.
