Masters of Albion’s New Beginnings update requires a new save

The Masters of Albion team says New Beginnings reworks orders, expands the prologue and adds night objectives with permanent reward cards. Version 1.4 saves cannot load in version 2.0, so players need a new save. The team said on October 1, 2026, that a Steam branch for version 1.4 would remain available for one month. It also reported up to double the frame rate in its tests, with gains varying by setup.
