1992 PC-98 horror game Dead of the Brain arrives on Steam with its first official English translation

FAKKU released FairyTale’s 1992 point-and-click zombie adventure Dead of the Brain on Steam on Oct. 30, 2026, with English and Simplified Chinese translations. The official English version builds on an earlier fan translation by WINE, whose members worked with FAKKU. The game is the first in a reported plan for more PC-98 Steam rereleases, but those follow-ups have no release dates in the report.
