Roblox congratulated players who finished The Hunt: Roblox 20, but it is not handing out the event's Dominus immediately. The company said it is evaluating the results and will award the item after those results are verified.
That leaves the final step deliberately open. Roblox did not disclose its verification criteria, say how many players are eligible or give a date for delivering the awards. Its message confirms that finishing the event and receiving the Dominus are separate stages, with a results check in between.
Twenty years of Roblox in one event
The Hunt: Roblox 20 was scheduled to run from Sept. 17 through Sept. 28 as part of the platform's 20th-anniversary celebration. Roblox's official event explainer described a hub built around games from every year of the platform's history, beginning with its 2006 founding.
Players started in Year Zero and advanced chronologically by completing a quest tied to each era. Roblox said clearing all 20 years opened Year Infinity, a second set of 20 games representing 2026 and what comes next. The company also promoted limited-release user-generated-content rewards and a place on the event leaderboard as reasons to keep progressing.
The anniversary promotion extended beyond the competition. Roblox temporarily restored a Classic app theme, while active Roblox Plus subscribers received early access to the hub and opportunities to earn three additional exclusive items. Subscribers could also retain the Classic theme, an avatar background and a profile frame after the event.
The remaining questions
Roblox's follow-up settles the immediate status of the Dominus: evaluation is still part of the award process. It does not settle the practical questions for finishers waiting on the item. Until Roblox publishes the criteria, recipient total or delivery schedule, completion alone should not be read as confirmation that an individual account has cleared verification.
