Zolbayar “tikuak” Chimedtseren is returning to Chinggis Warriors, ending a short and uneven spell on The MongolZ's main Counter-Strike 2 roster. HLTV reports that the 17-year-old is going back to the team he left in July.
The move closes a two-month experiment that began with considerable regional promise. Before joining The MongolZ, tikuak had averaged a 1.15 HLTV rating for Chinggis Warriors, appeared repeatedly in the site's Prospects rankings and helped the team win MESA League Season 5 and ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND Asia Open. One of his clearest tests against stronger opposition came in ECL Season 51 Asia-Pacific Cup 4, where HLTV recorded a team-leading 1.21 rating for him in a loss to TYLOO.
Against stronger opposition with The MongolZ, tikuak's rating fell to 0.91 across 21 maps. The team finished 9th–16th at the Esports World Cup and then exited FISSURE Playground 3 in last place during a period of roster instability.
The MongolZ benched tikuak and DarkMeister on September 15, roughly two months after adding both teenagers. HLTV counted nine matches for the pair on the active roster and reported ratings of 0.91 for tikuak and 0.92 for DarkMeister during their tenures. Those numbers describe a difficult audition, but they do not explain contract terms or how Chinggis Warriors plans to use tikuak on his return.
HLTV's latest roster list leaves The MongolZ with three active players: Garidmagnai “bLitz” Byambasuren, Sodbayar “Techno” Munkhbold and Usukhbayar “910” Banzragch, with Erdenedalai “maaRaa” Bayanbat as coach.
The team's next expected appearance is PGL Masters Bucharest, less than a month after the reported return. HLTV does not identify replacements or a completed five-player lineup. For tikuak, the immediate change is clearer: he returns to the regional setting where his earlier form first put him on prospect lists.
