First impressions of Final Fantasy VII Revelation’s Tokyo Game Show demo
Cid’s Jump ability and Vincent’s gunner and Beast modes earn praise from a player who says they tried the 20–30 minute opening demo on PS5 Pro.
TLDR
A Tokyo Game Show attendee describes Final Fantasy VII Revelation’s opening demo as a mountain climb with several boss fights as the team searches for Sephiroth. They praise the PS5 Pro graphics and Cid and Vincent’s combat, while noting that the demo includes neither open-world exploration nor the Highwind. Their account also describes Cloud experiencing frequent flashbacks as Sephiroth messes with his head.
