Fate/EXTRA Record Director Steps Down Citing Health Concerns

Director Kazuya Niinou announced he left TYPE-MOON Studio BB for personal reasons and stepped down from the remake project. He removed his name from the credits. TYPE-MOON stated the game will now be developed by Meteorise and published by Aniplex. The official site and X account close around September 7. Further staff updates and details follow in September. Release remains pending across Switch 1, Switch 2, PS4, PS5 and Steam.
