Cyberpunk 2077 reportedly reached its highest Steam player count since autumn 2023

Platinumframe.de reports Cyberpunk 2077's highest concurrent Steam count since autumn 2023, citing a post attributed to CD Projekt's Paweł Sasko that puts the weekend peak at 187,000. A GamesRadar+ headline credits update 2.5 and Edgerunners 2 with a three-year high, though platinumframe.de says the anime's effect cannot be determined. Sasko requested feedback; platinumframe.de says he did not announce update 2.6 or give a timetable.
