Fable Matches Original Trilogy at 20 Hours Main Story
Xbox interview reveals the upcoming game can be played endlessly after main quests.
TLDR
Polygon reported an Xbox interview with Playground Games confirming Fable's main story lasts about 20 hours. Completing side quests and activities pushes the total near 40 hours. The same interview stated players can literally play it forever if they want. Earlier Fable games took 13 to 15 hours for their main stories according to visible posts. Users on X compared the length to The Witcher 3 at 55 hours and Baldur's Gate 3 at 60 hours while debating whether shorter campaigns suit RPGs.

Illage2@illage2@SynthPotato The originals were more linear. The new one is open world, 20 hours for an open world RPG is a disgrace.
