Street Fighter V’s online content was unavailable while Capcom performed emergency maintenance related to PHP security, according to an Oct. 27, 2026, Capcom notice reproduced by VGC. The notice identifies the PlayStation 4 and Steam versions.

Capcom said sales on the PlayStation Store and Steam “will be suspended in stages” until the fix is complete. Rock Paper Shotgun reported that the game had been temporarily delisted from Steam. The outlet called the shutdown unfortunate for remaining players and treated the loss of ranked play and costume purchases as a downside.
