Fans Trace Ocarina of Time Remake's Stylized Faces to Puppet Theater

Posts on X examine the Ocarina of Time remake trailer. One user notes that enlarged eyes and long faces may draw from Japanese puppets, a concept they say clarifies the design choices. Polygon published an article titled Zelda's Official Ocarina of Time Makeover Is a Flop. Other accounts defend the visuals, question whether the same engine will appear in a Majora's Mask remake, or criticize the modern style as too minimal. One collector says the game looks amazing regardless of the debate.
