But I can promise you, what we're aiming for is to include all the various compilations of the wider universe of Final Fantasy VII in this game. We definitely have taken the time to put lots of references. @Genki_JPNNaoki Hamaguchi says the theme of the FF7 Remake series is to include the entire FF7 compilation in one so FF7 Revelation does include Advent Children. But whether the ending will link into Advent Children is something we will have to find out in the final game! "The theme that we have set ourselves for the whole of the Remake project, is we want to create a new FF7 from scratch which includes all of settings of the wider universe, compilation products, Crisis Core, Dirge of Cerberus, Before Crisis, all the others. There is a big difference between whether it relates to Advent Children or whether it includes Advent Children. It’s a bit of a different question. That’s one of the big things we want people to see and enjoy in the game.
