Epic Update Enables Seamless Voice Chat Across Devices
Imagine chatting with friends in Fortnite, then switching to the launcher or your phone without missing a beat. Epic Games just made that a reality.
TLDR
Epic Games announced Epic Parties, a system for voice chat that works across Fortnite, the Epic Games Launcher, and Epic's mobile apps. Users can move chats between devices without interruption and stay connected while using the PC launcher or mobile. Friends automatically join the same Fortnite lobby upon login. Official posts from Epic Games and Fortnite Status confirm the rollout, along with a store article detailing the cross-ecosystem setup that includes consoles.
