@Pirat_NationThe police in GTA 6 are getting a pretty big upgrade, and Rockstar says they won’t be as easy to lose as they were in previous games. Rockstar North co-studio head Rob Nelson explained that the police now have a better memory, so they won’t just forget about you as soon as you lose them. With the new “heat” system, police can remember things like the clothes you’re wearing or the car you’re driving so they could recognize you again later, even after your wanted level is gone. Another big change is that police won’t constantly appear on your mini-map during a chase, so you can’t just look at the radar and avoid their vision cones like in previous games. You can still use Focus to see police through walls, but you’ll have to pay more attention to what’s happening around you and think about how you’re going to escape.
