Nintendo Direct Focuses on Switch 2 Winter Games

Nintendo announced a general Nintendo Direct for September 9 at 10am ET lasting approximately 45 minutes. Posts by @Stealth40k state this is the first Direct to focus on Nintendo Switch 2 games launching this winter and the first to drop the original Switch from its marketing message. Earlier February and June Directs included the original Switch. @necrolipe posted similarly that the presentation will cover only Switch 2 titles releasing by year end without referencing the prior console.
