Xbox Confirms Disc-to-Digital Feature for Insiders
The feature lets Xbox Insiders claim digital entitlements from supported physical discs this month.
TLDR
Xbox has confirmed a disc-to-digital feature launching for Insiders this month. Users insert a supported Xbox One or Series X disc into a console and launch the game to claim a digital entitlement. The entitlement then enables benefits such as Xbox Play Anywhere and Xbox Cloud Gaming where supported, while the physical disc keeps working as before. Outlets including VGC and GameSpot reported the rollout after Xbox statements, with the feature previously only rumored.

TR tronkito@tronkit0@Genki_JPN This is awesome for multi device users like me! Now we have the benefits of physical like selling games and buying offers and the benefits of digital like xcloud or play anywhere. Huge W for @XBOX
