Modern Warfare 4 Open Beta Extended With Double XP

Activision extended the open beta for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 after Infinity Ward announced bonus time. The new close is 10pm PT tonight. Players now have extra hours to earn beta rewards. GameSpot stated that double XP was added to speed up grinding. CharlieINTEL posted the same end time of 10pm PT or 1am ET. The extension came from the developer account and was reported across gaming outlets. Participants can keep playing and collecting items during the added window. The beta period change lets more users finish their progress before access ends.
