Pocketpair CEO open to discussing Palworld for Switch 2

Pocketpair CEO Mizobe is open to discussing a possible Palworld version for Nintendo Switch 2, he told VGC. Asked whether a Switch 2 port was a real possibility, he replied, “Of course,” before adding: “If there’s ever a future where we have the opportunity to discuss or consider bringing Palworld to the Switch platform in some way, then we’d love to have those conversations.” His answer expresses conditional interest, not a port announcement or confirmation that talks have begun.

VGC reports that Nintendo’s patent infringement lawsuit against Pocketpair remains active and that Mizobe could not discuss it. According to the outlet, the case was filed in September 2024 and later modified in November 2025 to focus on older versions of Palworld after Pocketpair removed contested mechanics. VGC assesses that Pocketpair would likely have to address the dispute if it wants to bring Palworld to Switch 2.
