Stains of Decay Coming to Original Game Boy

GameRant shared details on an upcoming title called Stains of Decay. The project is described as a dark Soulslike-inspired action RPG. It will target the original Game Boy hardware through a physical cartridge. A Steam version is also planned. The game is scheduled to launch a Kickstarter campaign. This marks the first new release for the handheld more than two decades after its discontinuation. The publication notes the title will feature an eerie atmosphere and challenging gameplay. GameRant itself began operations in 2009 as a gaming news outlet covering similar projects.
