Rise and shine, Mr. Freeman

The latest hype and news regarding data miners information about the new Steam Machine and the possibility of Half-Life 3 actually launching with it, got me hyped on some Half-Life again.

I’m currently watching the Half-Life 2 documentary and I had to pull out my old physical copy of Half-Life GOTY. I’ve had this copy for many years now and it’s still in really good condition.

I’m a big fan of old big boxed PC games and wish I owned more. Something about them is just cool as hell.

Now I’m thinking about playing through the original or maybe just giving Half-Life 2 another play-through. The last time I did a complete play-through according to Steam was back in around 2012.

I did recently just built a slightly older hardware machine for use as a server, but with its RX 550, it might be fun to play through Half-Life and Half-Life 2 again on a bit of an older machine.

Damn, I really hope Half-Life 3 is happening. Lol
