@supaspicypicklI rate movies according to how much I had fun watching it I’m not a movie critic
@Sai_Ishaya_Interesting quotes. I agree to an extent. But this can apply to everything: books, games, food, art, etc. Just as critics & taste still matter for all of these, they still matter for movies. Films are pretty much the only thing that uses almost every art form. Art can be a subjective experience, but film criticism provides an objective framework to analyse the craft, structure, & cultural impact that purely personal enjoyment might overlook.
@ziggyprincess_I rate games according to how much fun I had playing it, I am not a games critic ♥️✨

@sollitaire_unfortunately me with movies and books
@NovaturrientThe same applies to books for me. But some people took it too far and even said that I should have learned about literature to understand the book. Like, okay?
@DuncanLindsayI rate soaps according to how much I had fun watching them I'm not a... Oh. Wait.
@MallBangers@supaspicypickl Same. Was it entertaining? Good enough.
@TiMoRi__This is why is always good to finish watching a movie before have an opinion 😂
