TLDR

The 007 First Light team announced on September 15 that the Nintendo Switch 2 release is moving to March 2027 to allow more time for performance polishing. The exact date will be shared later. One user sharing the announcement criticized the Switch 2 version’s handling, arguing that it had been treated as less important and that all versions should have waited until they were ready.

@TheNintendoGoofrubs me the wrong way how they've managed this game. Announced at a Nintendo Direct, then launched everywhere else, a minor delay of a few months was...fine but now it's like they're spitting in our eye. They could have waited until all versions of the game were done, but it was a decision to release this game on ALL other platforms and make us wait like we're second-class citizens, and now we have another 6 month delay. It's clear the Switch 2 version was treated as a lesser version, not as important, and mismanaged. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
