Insomniac Games has released a Marvel’s Wolverine hotfix that gives players more control over three kinds of navigation and collectible cues. Update 1.001.006 adds separate on/off Senses toggles for Whisky Bottle Scent Trails, Material Crate Audio Clues and Nightmare Door Roots.

The studio notes one important limit: story-critical Senses will still appear in the world. The new settings therefore reduce optional guidance without removing cues the game requires to move its story forward.

The September 25 release also addresses several crashes identified through logs and community reports. Its most concrete gameplay fix targets a problem that could leave Wolverine stuck while sliding down a tree during “The One That Got Away.”

The remaining changes are smaller visual repairs. Insomniac says the update corrects misaligned claws in Photo Mode, a rare issue that could make objects turn white after extended play sessions, and an overlapping bathroom sign in the casino caused by faulty UV mapping. The studio's announcement does not give a download size or describe any other gameplay changes.
