Creative Assembly Sees Total War 40k as Endless Sandbox

PC Gamer reported Creative Assembly's plan to treat Total War Warhammer 40,000 as a long running sandbox. The studio will expand this one title with regular content rather than develop sequels. All future updates and DLC are expected to build directly on the existing game. Creative Assembly described the true experience as the sandbox itself.
