Fans Debate If Popular Shows Like Alien Stage Count as Real Yuri

@yaoifortnite posted that himejoshis no longer share real yuri and instead focus on Genshin Impact and Alien Stage. @butchbarou replied that Alien Stage contains real yuri because its main characters are lesbians and the work was created by a lesbian woman and her girlfriend. @yaoifortnite answered that a lesbian pairing does not turn Alien Stage into yuri. Other replies observed that popular yuri loses its status as real yuri and defended Mizisua as a canon ship that forms the emotional core of the series.
