Atlus has opened preorders for Persona 4 Revival, its modern remake of Persona 4 Golden, ahead of a February 18, 2027, release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Windows and Steam. The official Sega/Atlus site also lists Xbox Game Pass. A Nintendo Switch 2 edition is scheduled separately for May 20, 2027.
The physical PlayStation 5 edition is already available to reserve in Brazil. TudoCelular reported an Amazon Brazil offer of R$278.90 through Pix or R$299 paid in installments when it published on September 28. Those retailer-specific prices can change and should not be read as a global price. Sega's regional product page says physical editions are planned for PS5 and Switch 2, while the other listed platforms are digital.
Atlus describes Persona 4 Revival as a ground-up presentation of Persona 4 Golden with enhanced graphics, interface work, combat and cutscenes. The story still follows a student who moves to the rural town of Inaba, where a series of murders and the Midnight Channel rumor draw him and his classmates into an investigation involving Shadows and Personas.
The official features page outlines several mechanical changes. A successful guard can stun an attacking Shadow. Hitting an enemy that is already suffering a status ailment can knock it into another enemy and spread that ailment. Baton Pass now lets a character hand a 1 More action to another party member.
Prime Time is the largest named addition. Filling its battle gauge starts a sequence of consecutive actions in which skills cost nothing, enemy resistances can be ignored and Baton Passes can be used freely. The sequence ends with a Series Finale attack.
Outside combat, Atlus is adding new seasonal events and Local Tours led by Aika Nakamura. Those tours involve finding photographs around Inaba and can unlock scenes about other characters' pasts. The main story has been re-recorded, while Social Links and other new events receive additional voice acting.
Composer Ryota Kozuka is handling remixed and new music, with Shiori Sasaki serving as lead vocalist. The product page lists standard, digital deluxe and digital premium editions. The larger editions bundle combinations of Velvet Room, Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Royal costumes, extra Personas and BGM sets.
