GTA 6 sales estimated at 5.5 million, with a 77% PS5 share

A September 16 post sharing Sensor Tower’s GTA 6 Sales Tracker figures says the game added an estimated 220,000 pre-orders over the previous week, bringing estimated total sales to 5.5 million. Weekly pre-orders were slightly down, while the reported console split remained 77% PS5 and 23% Xbox. Another post that day says PlayStation has a GTA VI booth at Tokyo Game Show showing the Extended Look on a cinema-sized screen.
