@GamingCulture_Rockstar is basically turning Miami into Vice City for GTA 6. Miami Beach approved a 4–3 marketing deal, while the City of Miami is also allowing much larger GTA 6 advertising, with banners over 5,000 sq ft carrying a $208,000 application fee. And honestly, I think this is smart marketing. GTA 6 is literally based on a fictional version of Miami, so promoting it in the real city makes the campaign feel bigger than just normal game ads. Some officials are worried about GTA’s image and violence, but the game is coming anyway. If the city can make millions from the campaign while keeping the branding controlled, I don’t see why they shouldn’t take advantage of it. This could be one of the most interesting game marketing campaigns we’ve seen in years.
@OfficialJoelFGot a fresh aerial moments ago of the GTA 6 signage being worked on behind Kaseya Center in downtown Miami 🦺
@SourceVI🚨 NEW: Images show the latest progress on Rockstar Games’ huge GTA VI installation at the Kaseya Center in Miami! Alongside it, here’s a concept of what we expect the finished version to look like once everything is in place.
