Modern Warfare 4 launches without a skill-based matchmaking opt-out

IGN reports that Modern Warfare 4 launched without an option to opt out of skill-based matchmaking, reopening debate among players. Dexerto reports that Infinity Ward multiplayer creative director Joe Cecot told IGN the studio examines player data for negative effects and wants every match to be a good match. Cecot questioned whether matchmaking can be perfected but gave no specifics about how MW4's system works or whether changes are planned.
