Nexus Mods mandates AI disclosures but rules out banning AI mods
Nexus Mods will require authors to detail AI use and let users filter certain mods from the home page.
TLDR
AI-generated mods remain welcome if they meet Nexus Mods' criteria for permissions, transparency, presentation and conduct. Authors must publicly explain how and where they used AI, and existing mod authors have 60 days to comply. Moderation will be manual, with users encouraged to report mods they believe haven't disclosed AI content.
