Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave debuted at No. 1 on Japan's estimated physical game chart for September 14–20, selling 127,131 copies on Nintendo Switch 2. The figure comes from Gematsu's report on Famitsu's weekly estimates, which tracks Japanese retail software rather than digital purchases or worldwide sales.
Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter was the week's other large new release. Its Switch 2 edition placed second with 24,724 copies, while the PlayStation 5 version placed fourth with 21,753. Together, the two versions reached an estimated 46,477 physical copies during the measured week.
Rhythm Heaven Groove separated those two listings at No. 3 with 22,568 weekly copies and 1,022,613 lifetime physical sales. Marvel's Wolverine opened at No. 5 on PS5 with 20,039 copies.
New releases fill much of the top 10
Another Eden Begins also split across two systems. The Switch 2 edition ranked sixth with 14,708 copies, and the original Switch edition ranked seventh with 9,237. Onimusha: Way of the Sword followed with 8,762 weekly PS5 copies and a 104,946 lifetime total.
Nintendo's longer-running releases rounded out the published top 10. Splatoon Raiders sold 7,105 copies on Switch 2, bringing its listed lifetime total to 663,797. Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream sold 6,909 on Switch and reached 1,610,052 lifetime physical copies.
Gematsu's table listed titles for positions 11 through 30 but said their unit totals would be published September 29. That means the first available report establishes the top 10 and the remaining titles' order, not complete sales figures for every ranked game.
