PlayStation has introduced Mina, played by Camila Senna, as one of Dead True’s co-hosts in Until Dawn 2. An official PlayStation post describes her as sensitive, compassionate and fascinated by the unexplained. Firesprite creative director Stu Tilley calls her conflicted.
In the pre-order trailer, Mina faces a grim choice: network bosses demand a ritual sacrifice broadcast live. Players can sacrifice the team’s chicken or set it free and risk Mina’s own blood for the ritual.
Dead True begins by filming an episode at Blackwood Sanatorium about events that unfolded 12 years earlier. The crew later meets Yoona, a survivor of a supernatural attack, whose warning sends them to Akishima Island, a remote South Pacific island with an abandoned luxury resort.
PlayStation’s official game page describes the sequel as a standalone, single-player PS5 exclusive with a new cast. Player choices can steer characters to safety or death, and PlayStation says Dr. Hill is the only returning character. Until Dawn 2 is scheduled for January 28, 2027.
