Squadron 42 Delayed to 2027 Over GTA 6

Cloud Imperium Games postponed Squadron 42, the single-player campaign tied to Star Citizen, until 2027. Developer Chris Roberts stated the title would not receive proper attention if released around the same time as Grand Theft Auto 6. Kotaku reported the delay with a headline expressing doubt about the reason. IGN covered the same announcement, noting Roberts' comments on the scheduling conflict. The move continues a pattern of repeated postponements for the project.
