TLDR

A base-PS5 player calls Wolverine’s combat satisfying and its DualSense implementation among the best they’ve experienced. Another player, after roughly 40 minutes on PS5 Pro, compares it to an old Xbox action game and welcomes its lack of an open world. They report 50 FPS in Fidelity Pro mode after adjusting settings, saying it felt close to 60 FPS. They also say the accessibility options they checked—including automatic completion of quick-time events and guidance—were off by default.

@Omegawyrm76Holy shit Wolverine plays good. i only have the base PS5 but with the 120h option turned on and VRR enabled makes this game run like a charm and looks insanely good. The dualsense implementation is some of the best I've witnessed so far. The combat so far feels very satisfying
@BlackLiqI don’t see what the big deal is. I tried Wolverine last night (I’m still finishing Onimusha which won’t end) and I can already see where the complaints came from. This isn’t Spiderman and thankfully it’s not open world. It kind of feels like an old Xbox action game. Im not sure if that’s good or bad to you, but I’m down for some quick violence. Especially after what I’m dealing with now, which has gotten so long, drawn out, and repetitive with a paper thin plot despite being so beautiful. I went through the accessibility stuff and all the things people online complained about were off by default. No auto complete QTE, no guidance thing, there was something about driving but it was off too. One amazing thing I noticed immediately is that on PS5 Pro it runs at 50 FPS on fidelity pro if you tweak the settings which basically feels like 60 FPS. Pretty Impressive. I maybe played for 40 minutes before going back to Onimusha to fight Byakue for the 10th time. If you’re on the fence my advice is to ask yourself what else you’ve spent money on recently that lasts 14-20. If you can afford to buy it twice buy it once, and please get it on disc. If not just wait a week and get something else, there’s crazy games dropping every week. I can’t recommend this any more or less than Onimusha, but I know I’m gonna beat both, then move on to the next! Im thinking Silent Hill….. #wolverine #ps5pro #marvel #weaponx #ps5
