MindsEye studio Build a Rocket Boy is reportedly closing permanently

A September 16, 2026 post says Build a Rocket Boy is reportedly closing permanently, citing sources quoted by Kotaku who describe a shutdown rather than more layoffs. The post says several workers announced their departures on LinkedIn. It also describes multiple rounds of layoffs, allegations of crunch and illegal employee surveillance, and a collective claim brought by the IWGB union, which it says is continuing action against management.
