Bandai Namco says The Shores, the second downloadable chapter for Little Nightmares III, will arrive September 30 as part of the Secrets of The Spiral Expansion Pass.
The announcement is deliberately spare. Its accompanying line hints at water, but it does not set out gameplay, a price, platform availability or a release time. That means the date and expansion-pass placement are confirmed, while the actual shape of the next chapter is not.
The second chapter in the pass
The game's official site describes Secrets of The Spiral as an expansion pass with two additional chapters and the Ferryman Costumes Set. It also says the chapters are not essential to the main story, framing them as extra journeys through the game's world rather than required campaign material.
The first chapter, The Backstage, is already listed on that site. It sends Low into a hidden part of the Carnevale after he and Alone are separated, and introduces Dime, a child with a torch hat, as well as the Puppeteer. The official materials do not say whether The Shores will continue that exact setup or introduce a different location and threat.
That restraint matters for anyone deciding whether to plan around September 30. Bandai Namco has confirmed the chapter's place in the pass and its release date, but it has not yet provided the practical details that would tell players what comes with it or how it will be sold outside the pass.
