@whatuplakerssTyler Perry putting new black talent on the screens and all yall do is fcking complain
@lou_m_cypherMan, lets stop talking around the issue: Tyler Perry KNOWS his audience is stupid. Point blank period. He's not catering to y'all, he's insulting y'all to your faces b/c he knows you don't know the difference.
@willuminati_He hinders that very same black talent by not writing good film/TV for them to showcase their talents that propels their career forward.
@RainmanmoeYall be super critical of Tyler Perry movies and I never get it, but will watch some hoes fight for 10 episodes and call it great tv.
@S_Scott019Tyler Perry is anti union and locks all his actors into long term deals while paying them pennies
@blingbloatyler perry movies always bout some bullshit
@AtlantisFellTyler Perry being black and hiring black people (bare minimum) will not change the fact he produces slop.
@KevCoke6This is the thing, though: putting Black talent in subpar shows and movies doesn't help them get future work. It actually pigeonholes them.
@francemothersTyler Perry is in NO WAY interested in making great movies or art —his interest lies solely in maintaining his wealth and producing the shows and films necessary to do that. Once you gain that awareness, you either watch his shows/films differently —or you completely disengage.
@cjgproduxionsIf you don’t like Tyler Perry, stop watching him. Every single time Tyler Perry comes out with something, the same people make think pieces about it and are mad because other people are watching it. All the other filmmakers out there, but he’s the only one yall do this with. Then when other ones do get something on TV, you don’t support it and it gets canceled.
