John Romero’s redesigned shooter reportedly has a new publisher

After VGC reported that Microsoft had pulled the studio’s earlier publishing agreement, John Romero told VGC he made a deal with a new publisher but could not name it or give an announcement date. He said the original 110-person shooter will not be finished; the redesigned game reuses art and code. Ten former staff have returned, bringing the team to around 15 to 16 people, according to Romero.
