Digital Sun delays ReVamp’s public Steam playtest, plans smaller Discord test first

Digital Sun plans to begin ReVamp testing on Discord instead of opening its first public Steam playtest as planned, VGC reports. The studio cited concern about games being cloned before release; VGC connects that concern to AI, which Digital Sun did not mention in its quoted explanation. Its Oct. 19, 2026, announcement set an Oct. 29 start for the Discord test and expressed hope for a public playtest around January.
