Origami reporting quoted by Insider Gaming describes Beyond Good & Evil 2 as still in pre-production, with at least 250 people working on it at Ubisoft Montpellier alone. The proposed game is a story-led, solo-first adventure with co-op play and no mandatory login. The project is seeking alpha and a move into production; the report does not say either milestone has been reached.
