Xbox revealed A Game About Digging a Hole Together at its Oct. 20, 2026, ID@Xbox x IGN showcase and announced that Arctic Eggs was available to purchase on Xbox Series X|S that day. Xbox Wire editor Danielle Partis said the digging sequel is headed to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC and Game Pass on Dec. 4, 2026. Players can dig with friends, sell the resources they find and upgrade their equipment as they search for buried treasure.
Arctic Eggs is a physics-driven cooking game set in a surreal Antarctic city, where eggs share the pan with ingredients including beer bottles and bullets. It appeared in the showcase’s CRITICAL REFLEX lineup alongside two announced Game Pass additions: Mouthwashing, planned for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, Xbox One and Game Pass on Oct. 29, 2026, and No, I’m Not a Human, planned for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Game Pass in 2027. Xbox listed Arctic Eggs for purchase, not as one of those Game Pass additions.
Xbox also set an Oct. 26 date for Scramble Knights Online on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC and Game Pass. Its recap lists a digital Oct. 29 release for The Wolf Among Us Remastered on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, and an early 2027 Xbox Series X|S and Xbox on PC window for the newly revealed sci-fi adventure Magenta Down. Partis said many games featured in the showcase will support Xbox Play Anywhere at launch, allowing play across console and PC at no additional cost. She did not extend that promise to every game shown.
