Zelda 40th Anniversary Switch 2 appears in an up-close unboxing

Nintendo Life unboxed a Zelda 40th Anniversary special-edition Switch 2 that it says Nintendo sent to the outlet. In an Oct. 29, 2026, post, it shared the gallery; the article said customers who had placed pre-orders would be receiving their consoles that day. That was a delivery expectation, not confirmation that every pre-order had arrived.

The dock on Nintendo Life’s unit has a gold Triforce design. The outlet also found tiny Link and Zelda figures inside the dock’s rear casing and described the Joy-Con 2 as two different shades of green.

French retailer Fnac lists a Zelda 40th Anniversary Switch 2 Pro Controller for €99.99. The listing showed online stock as sold out and offered a way to check store availability; its stock status is a snapshot, not a continuing availability claim. and posted that a console, Pro Controller and carrying case were all out on Oct. 29, but their posts do not establish where the case was available.
