Nintendo sets October 28 Indie World Showcase for Switch 2 and Switch

Nintendo of America announced an Indie World Showcase for Oct. 28, 2026, at 7 a.m. Pacific. It plans roughly 15 minutes of new announcements and updates on indie games coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch. The Nintendo of America livestream listing is scheduled for that date and time.

There is a difference in the advertised lengths. Nintendo’s Japanese event page schedules its presentation for 11 p.m. in Japan on Oct. 28 and describes it as a roughly 25-minute prerecorded video about indie games playable on Switch 2 and Switch. Neither Nintendo’s North American announcement nor its Japanese event page explains why the lengths differ. The Japanese page also says viewers can watch through the Nintendo Today! smartphone app.
