WARDOGS Beta Draws Record 81,000+ Steam Players

The WARDOGS team ran the last day of its closed beta and asked players to stress infantry-only and hardcore servers. An account tracking Steam data posted concurrent numbers of 81,855 for WARDOGS, 67,837 for Battlefield 6, and 43,522 for Modern Warfare 4. Official posts from the developer showed proximity voice chat clips, player-built forward operating bases, and remote drone strikes on vehicles. After the test closed, the studio thanked participants for the turnout and directed attention to a September 3 announcement on the FPS Games Show Twitch stream.
