Phasmophobia’s Resonance update is planned for late November 2026 with Xbox Play Anywhere

Kinetic Games plans to launch Phasmophobia’s Resonance update in late November 2026, combining its move to Unity 6 with new content. The studio expects performance and lighting improvements and plans to add dowsing rods, Sound Sensor changes and more ways to instruct ghosts through voice or text. The update is also set to bring Xbox Play Anywhere support. A character cosmetics update has been pushed back, while the 42 Edgefield Road rework is planned for later in 2026.
